PCL Asia: U19 RISING STAR COMPETITION
PCL Asia: Rising Stars is a regional youth championship established to identify, develop, and advance elite under-19 pickleball athletes across Asia. The program is structured as a standalone competition that emphasizes long-term athlete development, standardized competition, and regional collaboration through a team-based format.
The championship serves as an official youth pathway within the PCL Asia ecosystem and aligns with international best practices for junior sport development.
U19 Rising Stars – Team Composition & Registration Guidelines
4 players per team (2 male and 2 female)
All players must be 19 years old or younger as of the designated cut-off date
Entry Fee: USD $200 per team
Mandatory Submission Package
Player Information Dossier (for each player):
Full legal name (as per government ID)
Date of birth
Nationality or residency
Pickleball background and experience
Proof of age (passport or government-issued ID)
Team Story Video:
Length: 2–3 minutes
Filmed on phone is acceptable — authenticity prioritized over production quality
The video should answer:
- Who are you as a team?
- How did this team form?
- Why do you want to represent your country or region?
- What does pickleball mean to you?
Use of Videos:
Broadcast and livestream features, Social media storytelling, Sponsor content, Fan engagement
